This week the children wrote leaflets to persuade wounded soldiers that Florence House was the best convalescent home. They used ideas from research and leaflets they explored to generate their persuasive language.
Maths
This week we started work on algebra, looking at 1 step and 2 step problems and algebraic rules.
History
We began work on the Home Front during WW1 and the children have started to design their own posters to persuade women to help in the war effort.
World Book Day
We had a great world book day and enjoyed working on our English work in the morning and making posters to promote our favourite books in the afternoon. The costumes were amazing!
