School Attendance

Please see a reminder below of attendance procedures.

If you are planning on taking your child out of school for 1 day or more, a ‘Leave of Absence’ form MUST be completed and returned to school prior to the date of the absence. We strive continuously to improve our school attendance and a child’s absence will only be authorised in exceptional circumstances.

A form is not required for medical and dental appointments but you must still inform school or nursery if your child is attending an appointment during school hours.  Depending on the circumstances, we may request proof of the appointment e.g. a letter or message from the relevant person. We request that, wherever possible, you book your child’s routine medical and dental appointments during school holidays and not in term time.

We thank you in advance for adhering to these procedures.

End of Term News 21.12.23

Hello everyone,

The staff and I would like to say a huge ‘thank you’ for your cards, gifts and your ongoing support this term. It has been a very busy final week with our choir performing at Bicton Church and at Bicton Heath Co-op this week. Thank you to parents and grandparents who came to support the children at the Co-op which raised £30 for the Severn Hospice.

Mrs Jones’ pop-up Christmas shop raised a whopping £457! Thank you for your donations and for all the gifts purchased. We will share photos in the spring term of what we purchased with the proceeds.

We hope you have a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year. See you all on the 9th January! 🙂

With much love from

Mrs Johnson and staff x
