Class 3 Homework – due in Friday 6th November

Dear Parents/Carers,

Class 3 children have been asked to write  about something they have done over half term. It can be about somewhere they have been or someone they have spent time with or we discussed how they could use their imagination and make up something they have done  – for example, pretending they went on a visit to the moon. The choice is up to them.

This homework is due in on Friday 6th November. Apologies that it hasn’t come home with your child – the printer broke in school on Friday!

Holiday Homework Thank You!

I just wanted to say a big thank you for the support you gave your children to complete their holiday booklets. They were lovely to read and I feel like I know the children better already. Well done to the children for such hard work!

Homework will be filed in each child’s individual homework folder which will be kept in their tray for the year. We ask for these not to go home but you are more than welcome to pop in and see them at the end of a school day if you wish.

As another way for me to get to know you a little bit better and find out what sorts of things you like, I would like you to tell me all about your favourite book or a book you have read recently.

Use the writing frame below to write a book review.

Remember to make sure your work is neat.

Stickers will be ready to be given for fantastic work! I was very impressed with your holiday homework which you will be given back next week (with lots of lovely stickers I am sure)!

The homework is split into groups – your child should know which group they are in (if they have forgotten please don’t hesitate to ask)!

Hello and welcome back!

We’ve got off to a great start in Class 3 and the children are excited about their new topics and all the learning planned for this term!

Please find attached a copy of the topic poster, identifying what we will be learning in each subject, as well as a letter informing you of some key information for Class 3.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to catch me at the end of the school day.

Missing Sweatshirt

Please could you check that your child has brought the correct sweatshirt home, as Josh (Davies) in Class 3 has lost his which has his name clearly marked inside it.

If you could check that all of your child’s uniform and coat are labelled with their name, we would be very grateful.

Football Club – Reception, Year 1 and Year 2

Football Club for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children will start on Tuesday 18th March – 3.15pm until 4.15pm.    Children can go into Film Club when football finishes but they will still need to pay £1.50.   Thank you
