In whole-school worship this morning, we looked at lots of different food items that the Coop have kindly brought into school for us as part of our Fairtrade Fortnight activities.

We watched a video Fairtrade Adventure and thought about how Fairtrade works and the impact it hopes to have.  Each class was also given a Fairtrade football from the Coop and these are already in use!

A big well done to all of Class 4 and all who donated to our cake sale.  We raised a fabulous £109.10!  Class 4 will be talking about which charity to donate this to next week.

Class 4 sewing club are busy making patchwork items.  Mrs Roberts is impressed with their neat work.  Well done!

As part of our current whole-school theme of Caring, children from Classes 1 and 2 were asked to choose a book to bring into morning worship to share with children in Classes 3, 4 and 5. Older children then sat with younger children and helped them read their book or read it to them. The children really seemed to enjoy having this opportunity to read together as a whole school and it was lovely to see them all supporting each other.

Well done to our latest medal winners and to the quick sticks hockey team who received certificates for taking part in the recent event at The Corbet.
