Christmas jumpers for Hazel class

Please can all Hazel class bring in their Christmas jumper and hat tomorrow -THURSDAY 17TH DEC.  They only need to wear it so we can record our Christmas play, so please wear PE kit as normal.  They will still be wearing jumpers on Friday too.

Food tasting in Hazel class

Hello,

Next week we will be doing some food tasting in class, then the following week we will be doing some Christmas baking.  Please can you let me know if your child has any allergies that we don’t already know about.

Good afternoon Hazel class,

I hope you have all had a lovely half term break and enjoyed the rest!  Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow , ready for a new half term.

Please can you all bring in your wellies and a coat for this Thursday 5th November so we can go into forest school in the afternoon.

Hazel class science lesson

Please could your child bring in a pair of wellies and make sure they have their coat for tomorrow’s science lesson – Wednesday 21st October as we are hoping to go outside and in the forest school area.

Welcome back Hazel class

Hello and welcome back!

We have had a fantastic first week in Hazel class and it has been lovely getting to know you all.  We have been so proud of how well the children have settled into their new class and new routines.  The children have been super keen to do some work and have listened very carefully, as well as come up with their own rules for the classroom.

 

PE

Our PE sessions will be on Tuesday and Thursday this term. Please can you make sure that your child comes to school wearing their PE kits on these days.

 

Reading book

We are working through listening to the children read and they will all be receiving a new book within the next week (unless they have been given a new one already).

We hope you have had a good rest this weekend ready for the new week.

Online, Daily Read Write inc sessions

These lessons mirror the phonics that is taught in Class 1 and 2.

I would like Class 1 to watch the Set 2 lessons  and Mr Taylor would like Class 2 to watch the Set 3 lessons. Each lesson will last 15 minutes.

RWI Phonics lessons at home from Monday 23rd March

We’re scheduling free Read Write Inc. Phonics lessons on Facebook and YouTube for children to watch at home; three short Speed Sound lessons with one of our trainers every day for the next two weeks. Films will only be available at the times below:

Set 1 Speed Sounds at 9.30 am and again at 12.30 pm
Set 2 Speed Sounds at 10.00 am and again at 1.00 pm
Set 3 Speed Sounds at 10.30 am and again at 1.30 pm

Note: films are streamed live and won’t be available at other times.
