Everyone who takes part will gain free entry to the garden and grounds on Sunday 18 September.
There are a maximum of 20 spaces for this activity so if your family are interested in taking part do get in touch as soon as possible with Kate Christmas, Visitor Experience Officer (Families and Schools) on 01743 708195 or email kate.christmas@nationaltrust.org.uk.

Class 3 Warwick Castle Trip

Dear Parents/Carers,

This is just another reminder about our trip tomorrow. Please can you ensure your child brings enough to drink throughout the day as it will be very warm. If you have an ice pack you can put it in your child’s bag to keep things cool.

If you know your child suffers from travel sickness, please could you ensure they have had any medication before coming to school and could you also let a member of staff know if this is the case. We also ask that you do not give your child any food or sweets for the bus journey.

All children must bring a sun hat to wear and have sun cream applied before coming to school.

Many Thanks,

Miss Barratt

Medicines

All medicine that has been kept in school this term for children will need to be collected from school on Friday afternoon, the last day of term. Children who go home on the bus, any medicine will be put safely in their bags.

Any relevant medication will need to be returned at the start of term in September.

Any queries please contact the school.

Red Group – Section C

Green Group – Section B or C

Yellow Group – Section B

Orange Group – Section B or A

Blue Group – Section A

Class 4 Homework

This week children have a sheet of words containing prefixes.

We would like them to sort them and investigate the effect each prefix has on the root word. How does it change the meaning of the word? It might be useful to use a dictionary to help.

Please could children then write between 4 and 10 sentences containing different words from the sheet. Please ensure sentences make sense and encourage children to write extended sentences.

Thank you for your support.

Sports Day Thank Yous

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who came along to support the children at Sports Day today.  We couldn’t have asked for better weather and the children’s effort and sportsmanship was a credit to them all.

Thank you to everyone in FOBs for providing refreshments throughout the day especially the bacon rolls which were delicious! Thank you also to the Year 6s who helped during both events and to Doug for taking on the role of photographer for us this afternoon.

Hopefully the children will sleep well this evening – the staff certainly will!
