Class 3 filming letter

Please see below a copy of the letter which was sent out today to those children for whom we have previously been given consent for their photos to be used in the press and on our public website.

I apologise for the typing error in my original letter! It should have said ‘spead of germs’ not ‘thread of germs.’

Taste Testing in Class 3

Class 3 will be taking part in some taste testing on Thursday as part of their DT work.  Please can you let us know if your child has any allergies that we are not already aware of.

Flu Immunisation – Thursday 24th October

There are still a number of Flu Immunisation consent forms outstanding. We need the forms to be returned whether you would like your child to have the immunisation on Thursday or not. There are spare copies at the school office if your have not received one or it has been misplaced. Thank you.

Tomorrow I need to inform Condover our numbers and send the deposits, if your child would like to go, please can you return permission slip and money by tomorrow morning, Friday 5th July.

Plastic Bag/Bag for life

Dear Parents/Carers,

Please can you ensure your child brings a plastic bag/bag for life to school tomorrow and keeps it in their locker ready for when we start sending books home. Thank you to those parents who have already brought them in.

Request for Art Materials

Dear Parents/Carers,

Next half term the children will be making papier-mache Roman helmets for their art project. Please could your child bring in a cardboard box (the size of a cereal box) on the first day back after half term.

If you happen to have any newspapers you do not want we will happily receive those as well!

Class 3 Homework – Due in Monday 11th June

Apologies – in the mad rush at the end of the day I have forgotten to give out the homework! I will give it to the children on the first Monday back and the children can hand it in on Monday 11th June instead alternatively, year 3 parents, feel free to print the homework below.

Year 2 – The Year 2 children have been asked to complete pages 18 and 19 from their SATS Booster Reasoning Maths Book. I realise SATS are now over but there are still some valuable activities for the children to complete in order to help reinforce work we are doing in class.

Year 3 – The Year 3 children have been given some multiplication homework linked to work we have been doing in class.
