Christmas Concert Dress Rehersal

Dear Parents/Carers,

The children will be having a dress rehearsal for their Christmas Concert on Monday so please can you ensure all children have their costumes in school. Just a reminder that unless you were told otherwise before Christmas, your child needs to bring in a dark pair of bottoms, a white top and a Christmas jumper or party wear.

Christmas Concert Tickets – Classes 3, 4 & 5

Tickets are now on sale for the Classes 3, 4 and 5 Christmas concerts on Tuesday 12th and Thursday 14th December.  Tickets are restricted to 2 per family until the end of this week.  Once all families have had the opportunity to purchase 2 tickets, the remaining tickets will go on sale and these will be sold on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Missing Purse

I am sorry to have to inform you that Lily in Class 4 has had her purse taken from her locker at some point this afternoon (Tuesday.)  It is a small green canvas purse with a yellow L on it and it had £1.20 inside in 20p pieces for her milkshake.

I have already spoken to several Class 4 parents or grandparents in the last hour and I am very grateful for your support in this matter.  I am still working my way through the Class 4 register but, in the meantime, please could I ask you to check your child’s bag with them just in case they have brought the purse home in error.  We take matters like this very seriously and would ask that you speak to your child just in case they think they may know who may have taken the purse and money.

This has been copied to Class 5 parents, as the children share the same cloakroom.  If you have any concerns please do not hesitate to speak to me and I thank you again for your support.

If you would like your child to attend Arthog next year please can you return permission slip and £30 deposit by Thursday, 16th November at the latest.

Harvest Service – Choir Performing

We hope to see as many of the Choir as possible tomorrow at the Harvest Service at Bicton Church at 6:30 pm. The children will be singing 2 songs and we would prefer children to be wearing school uniform please.  Many thanks

Arthog Thank You

Thank you to all the children who went to Arthog for what was a fabulous long weekend. The children’s behaviour was some of the best we have ever experienced and as for their effort and perseverance … they should all feel very proud of themselves for what they achieved. It was genuinely an absolute pleasure to be away with them and they did Bicton proud!

We will upload the rest of the many photos taken, over the next couple of days.

Oswestry School Science Day

Just a reminder that it is the Oswestry School Science Day tomorrow for the 5 Year 5 children who have been chosen from Class 4.

Children need to ensure they have a jumper/cardigan with them and a coat if it is bad weather.  Lunch will be provided by Oswestry School.

We will be leaving school at 9.00am sharp and returning by 3.15pm.
