Sports Day Classes 1, 2 & 3

Please could children in Classes 1, 2 & 3 come to school tomorrow morning wearing their P.E. kit (including their relevant coloured t-shirt) ready for Sports Day.

Please remember to send your child with a hat and drink and ensure they have sun cream applied if the weather is warm.

Many thanks.

Class 1 outdoor area

Thank you again to everyone that has donated equipment for Class 1’s outdoor area.

One of our outdoor projects is to make a ‘mud kitchen’. If anyone has any old kitchen utensils they can donate we would be very grateful. We are looking for things like pots, pans, baking and cake trays, plastic/metal bowls, spoons, etc.

Thank you for your continued support.

Holiday Reading Books

We have collected all of the children’s reading and reading record books today and will send them home tomrrow with two reading books for the holidays. Please could you return them in September.

Many thanks

Last Day!

I have told the children that they are welcome to bring in toys and games tomorrow for the last day. Please could you make sure they don’t bring in anything too expensive (electronic games) or with lots of small pieces.

Many thanks

Jude Chadwick

Celebration Assembly

Please could children in class 2 bring their school PE kit (blue t-shirt and blue/black shorts) with them tomorrow for celebration assembly. If they do not have one, could they bring something as near to this as possible. They may come to school in their PE kit tomorrow if they wish but please could they also bring their school uniforms.

Many thanks,

Jude Chadwick

Celebration Assembly

I have asked children who want to, to prepare a short fact about the sea creature that they carried out research for in school and at home. It should be no more than a couple of sentences and I would like them to read it out (without bits of paper) in next Friday’s assembly. I would appreciate your help in helping them to prepare this and we will practise on Wednesday and Thursday in school.

Many thanks,

Jude Chadwick

Class 2 Spellings

Children have not been given new spellings today as next Friday is celebration assembly and the following Friday is a PD day. Could you please leave children’s spelling books in their book bags as we will collect these in the last week.

Many thanks,

Jude Chadwick

Class 2 Spellings

Dear Parents/Carers,

There will be no spelling test tomorrow (Friday 20th June) so the children will be tested on their current spellings next week instead. Class 2 will be taking part in tennis and yoga lessons tomorrow as part of health and fitness week and there will not be time to fit in spellings aswell.

Thank you for your support,

Mrs Chadwick
