Hi everyone,
I hope you’ve had a lovely summer holiday and enjoyed the sunshine when it’s turned up!
I’ve been putting off writing this post to you, but it’s my last working day today and I’ve finally handed over my keys and laptop so I can’t put it off any longer.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to each and every one of you, for making my last term, especially the last couple of days of the summer term, so special for me. Seeing so many of you at my leaving assembly and at the party in the afternoon – including lots of past pupils and parents – made me feel so privileged to have been part of such a special place for so long. Your gifts, cards and messages simply blew me away and summed up Bicton School. I shed many tears reading the beautiful messages in your cards, letters, and online messages and your cards have only just been taken down at home – mainly so we could eat at the table again!
Thank you for all your wonderful gifts and to everyone who contributed to my Collection Pot. It takes a lot to stop me talking but when I opened the envelope and saw the voucher I was absolutely speechless! I will let you know when Mark and I have decided where we are going to visit, as I have far too many places on my list to choose from at the moment.
Bicton School and Nursery will always hold a special place in my heart and I have all of you to thank for that. I wish you all – children, parents, staff and governors – the most amazing future and I’m sure our paths will cross again.
With much love,
Mrs Johnson xx
